The new Executive Committee of GWESRA inspected the proposed site for the construction of a chalet in the premises of Veterans Home at Bolagala, Katana. This was followed by its fist meeting at the same venue. Executive Committee of GWESRA unanimously decided to go ahead with the planning process and sub committee was appointed under the chairmanship of Brigadier Madura Wijewickrama who is one of the newly elected Vice Presidents of GWESRA. Brigadier Madura Wijewickrama is scheduled to discuss the project plan in detail at the next Executive Committee meeting of GWESRA on the 31 May 2009.
